Through the airwaves

If you imagine your thoughts being a show transmitted through a certain radio frequency, instead of an old radio cassette that you play in your own mind, you discover a myriad of new thoughts transmitting and receiving through the airwaves.

Let’s use this metaphor and say that based on the frequency of others’ radio transmission, I find it really easy to read the ‘energy’ in other people, after a trauma I survived decades ago. Somehow, each time I learned a new lesson ( life is so generous in teaching us something new most of the time!) , I don’t complain, on the contrary, I am grateful, after all, it is an up-grade. I turned out to be an ‘emphat’. As crazy as this might sound, I just know, in my heart…

One of the experiments I am running in the last 18 months, is to identify the “Superheros” around me, people to whom, the “Superhero” in me, relates to. When I meet the change-makers, the disruptives, I know in my heart that they survive some traumatic experiences and instead of going south, suffering with post traumatic stress disorder syndrome, they go north, and become super heroes. The medical term is PGD (Posttraumatic Growth Disorder and not many people talk about it…

These people are expected to be brave, selfless leaders, and they truly are the real Givers of modern society . Unfortunately they rarely receive the recognition they deserve, and there is no kind way of saying this, but most of the time others ( “The receivers”) are abusing these giants’ trust, generosity, and compassionate nature. So out of all people, the ones who really suffered, gained the wisdom and the courage to go into the unknown, open new paths, while others are busy judging them…Not that they care what others think of them, they know, in their heart of hearts, their life it is no longer about them, but those who are screaming for help…Nature (or God, or The Universe) works in such mysterious ways!

Just happens that today one of our columnists for Sovereign Magazine, released a very interesting article ‘From remission to self- definition- How to live with Posttraumatic Growth Disorder

Why it did not surprise me a tiny bit? In my heart, I knew from the very moment we’ve met…
